When you register, your device creates a private key — your secret — and from it a complement master key. Your secret private key is never sent to the server, only the master key. You can use your secret key to generate a trusted key, one for every device! Trusted keys prove your identity to the server without ever revealing the secret key, thanks to zero-knowledge proofs (ZKP). The server only sees proofs, never your secrets, keeping your account and messages private by design.

  • Trusted Key: Each device gets its own secret key made just for it. That’s all you need to log in safely.
  • Device salt A one-of-a-kind code from your device that makes sure you are you.
  • Zero-Knowledge Proofs: We prove you’re legit without ever seeing your private key. Even we can’t peek.
  • Multi-Device: Add more devices easily — each gets its own trusted key.
  • Ephemeral & Encrypted: Chats are locked tight and vanish after a while. Only you and your friends can unlock them, using your secret passphrase.
  • Privacy by Default: Nothing to set up. Even if someone hacks our servers, it’d just look like gibberish.
